We all know about the possibility to include fonts via CSS in our web site:
@font-face {
font-family: "Watusi";
src: url("http://www.example.com/fonts/watusi.ttf");
format("truetype");
}
h1 {
font-family: "Watusi", sans-serif;
}
So, why don’t we use this technique ?

There is an workaround available for the Internet Explorer by Jon Tan. And there are Project on the way ( typekit , Typotheque ) to handle the license and technology problems for you. It’s just a matter of time when we can leave sIFR and Image Replacement technique’s behind us. Horay!
